About Us

Discover a Hotel that Defines a New Dimension of Paradise

At the Coron Floating Hotel and Restaurant we organize a simple yet subtle place for you in paradise. Our Cabins are on a traditional Philippine Banka Boat which are upscale tented accommodations offering novelty and access to experiences that are at once authentic and Instagrammable. Kids love it—it’s great for multi generational trips. It’s a completely different experience, allowing you to practically roll out of your beds into the world’s most beautiful lagoon.

We are located on a remote private lagoon in Coron Island on a stunning, albeit slightly weathered Banka Boat-a paradisaical retreat upon pristine, clear and clean water just a few meters from the entrance to Kayangan Lake and 1.5 nautical miles from Coron Town. You can just jump and snorkel, paddle a boat or simply relax on the hammocks. If you rent the entire houseboat, you will have the place to yourself.

Our staff at Coron Floating Hotel and Restaurant works hard to tailor the experience for your needs. We can orchestrate customized cruises to neighboring islands and beaches; plan private dinners at secluded locations, arrange yoga, diving or snorkeling and create adventures for families travelling together.

We created this place so we could share with like-minded people a little something specail

Foot-in-the-water Bar

Foot-in-the-water Bar is an easy-going bar, where we put together refreshing cocktails (and mocktails). Fine wines and light snacks also feature, alongside some easy beats at sunset. Foot-in-the-water Bar is open from 10am until 10 pm, on-board, over the lagoon.

We got to spend a few days with Todd, Janet, little cutie Amihan and their lovely staff onboard. What a great  experience  all alone amongst beautiful islands. We went snorkelling above shipwrecks, swimming in secret lagoons, paddling around in a little banka, we visited a remote village and took a bushwalk to a waterfall. Got served great food & fresh fruits. Sleeping in tented accommodations aboard a boat is the cosiest thing I can imagine, watching lovely sunsets from Robinson Crusoe-islands. And what’s best of all- The HOSPITALITY- all the amazing stories Todd and Janet shared with us. We felt really welcome. Thank you .

I  grew up as a kid going camping, At this stage in our lives, we like the nostalgia of camping, but with all the conveniences and luxuries.

After meeting, Janet, Todd (aka Skip) and Himalaya in the christmas holiday, i went sailing with them around the south side off palawan, and after that the way up to busuanga, it has been an adventure of my life. i went sailing with them for about a month ( i think ) and those people really made me feel like part off their family, and what amazing stories they have. Our journey was both wonderfull but also tough some times, but without the tough part it would just have been a cruise and that was not what i was looking for. I also learned alot about sailing on my jouney with them, and as a complete rookie like me, in sailing, that just made the journey even better. It is for sure not the last time i meet up with those people again. p.s. that anker is heavy Todd 🙂 Best regards Peter.

Our inebriated snoozing holiday in the sun was unexpectedly transferred into a sailing adventure after we stumbled on Todd and Janet last Christmas. What a positive coincidence it was.  Days filled with sailing under tropical sun in a gentle breeze and stopping over to snorkel interesting looking reefs and nights spent underneath a pincushion sky gazing at the Milky Way was truly unforgettable experience. I would say that forget those crowded, overrated tourist spots in Palawan and put some action in your holiday. Time on board was so much more giving than drowsing out at some beach resort. T and J are cheerful hosts and they know local waters and villages so well and tell about those with so much passion that it?s really a wonderful experience.

Sometimes in life good things happen and meeting Janet, H and Skip are one of those moments. The only thing I can say is thank you guys.  If you want to do the typical tourist thing, like snorkeling in aboarded ?gage? ? dont bother ? but if you want something to talk about then check them out. Absolutely fantastic.
